ELIGIBILITY

Athletes must be 8 to 9 years of age as of December 31st of the current season to be eligible for the U10 racing program. ABOUT THE PROGRAM

This is a development level program for 8 and 9 year old children. The emphasis is on having fun, team building, and skill development through alpine racing. Athletes are at a very important age to develop optimal motor skills. Whether your child aspires to become a competitive racer, or a great all round skier, this program focuses on fostering a love for the sport while developing the FUNdamental skills required to become a competitive skier. Our program incorporates Alpine Canada ACA Snow Stars, a 7-step program which guides children, parents, and coaches through appropriate skill progression.

We are in the process of looking into Dryland Pre-Season Training. If we are able to offer Dryland pre-season training , it will be set up as a registration with its own cost.

On-snow activities start with a 4-day Christmas camp from December 27th to 30th, 2023 where skiers get reacquainted with snow training, working both on and off the course. Christmas camp runs from 9am to 3pm, with a one-hour unsupervised lunch break. Please note that camp dates and hours may be reduced should weather and snow conditions create an unsafe environment or limit terrain availability. Parents and guardians are required to be on-site during training.
