Happy Summer Brim Racing Families! We sincerely hope all of you are having a safe and healthy summer.
The Brimacombe Racing Board of Directors [BRBD]is looking forward to the 2021 Racing Season. As we plan and look ahead, we felt it necessary to be upfront about certain realities that may impact our program. As you can appreciate, with the implications of the Covid-19 pandemic shifting and changing frequently, we are working to ensure our program can adapt to reflect the most up-to-date information and guidelines as provided by the government and health authorities, and to a certain degree, Alpine Ontario as well. These are the institutions that are providing us with the tools to understand more about what our program will be this winter. We also recognize that ski hills themselves may be required to adapt and change to meet recommendations and this would also impact not only Brim Racing but potentially all Alpine Ontario racing. Our racing program design will be based on whatever restrictions the government and/or health authorities place on ski clubs for their operations.
As a result, we are asking that you continue to be patient with us and respect that as we learn more about what our season can be, we will communicate clearly with all families. We have also decided to delay registration until mid-October to allow the BRBD more time to hopefully have a clearer understanding of what our season will be.
The BRBD is very much looking forward to safely welcoming our racers to the 2021 season.
